Favorite tool to make and use.....

Hello friends:) 
Thanks for coming back.  I am so far loving having a blog.  Right now it is kind of easy showing off my projects since there are so many you haven't seen.  I just hope you don't get bored:)

Scrappy sacs are my most popular item to sell on Etsy.  They sold out in the first month and whenever I am in a swap with the gals, I always make sure they get one from me, but personalized and to match their craft room.  And they always love them!

What is a scrappy sac?  For those that don't know, it is a little bag I sew up with quilting cotton and a weighted pillow sits on the table holding the bag.  They are great for all crafters whether you sew, card make, scrapbook, even cross stitch and crochet.  It will hang from any flat surface and the pillow also can be for stickpins or machine needles.  I have four in my craft room, one in each of my kids rooms on their nightstands, one hanging out of the glove box in my van for dry garbage (or change, coupons, etc) - it doesn't matter.  It works for it all.  Anyway, here are some that I have done for past customers and swaps with the gals.

A few of my favorite projects from 2009.....

I did come back!!  Of course........
Unfortunately I don't have anything new that I've been working on.  Mind you, anything I show you could be new to you since my blog is new - LOL.  I do have a few packages coming in the mail that I got me for my birthday.  Then I will have some new toys to play with - hopefully this week.
Anyway, I thought I would show you a few of my favorite projects that I have done recently over the next few days - some were for Christmas and some just for special friends.
The first is this CD calendar that I did using a retired SU stamp set called Flower of the Month.

I love how these turned out.  I love making calendars.  I have so many more ideas on what I can do for themes.  Each month takes it turn sitting in the CD holder and the rest sit in the pretty box for storage. Perfect for on top of a desk top. Eventually I plan to have some up on my Etsy store.

Another one of my favorite projects to alter is address books.  I love to try all sizes and styles.  I do have a few more templates that I want to try but these are some I've done for gifts so far.

Ok so that was a lot of address books to look at but you can see I LOVE to make them.  I have a few more but I will show you those another time.  You have enough pictures to browse.

Finally.................I'm doing it!

WOW........I can't believe I am doing it. I finally started a blog. With so much anticipation and being nervous, I am just going to give it a shot.
I have met so many wonderful friends through the blogging world, and with all of them supporting me, I figured I should take the next step.
I will do my best to update weekly, maybe even daily:) Pop back in for a visit and say hi - I would love having visitors.
You will probably see a mix of my projects, whether it be sewing or papercrafting.  I hope you enjoy them:)
