More Towel Ideas....

So today I wanted to share a couple other towel ideas as promised.  They could be used for gifts for any occasion.  The first is a set of His 'n Her towels that were done for a custom order for an anniversary.  This couple loves penguins so.............

We found these penguins.  Boy and girl and he has some flowers for her.  Awwwww, so cute and totally screams anniversary to me.  Needless to say they loved them :)

These penguins are a little more "cute" but still say anniversary too.  I can't tell who is blowing the kiss to who but I love the chubbyness of these little guys.

You could also hang these during the holidays for guests coming to visit.  They would love this idea!

Better run to get more pictures taken.  Lots of projects to share, lots more projects to get done with the holidays not tooo far away.

Enjoy your day :)

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hey everyone!  Hope you are all having a great week!  Been super busy at work so haven't had much time to get on the computer.
Char, my partner in crime, came to visit me from Kelowna.  We had so much fun running around checking out the "fabric" store here and found another little quilt shop in Trail. We didn't get to do any creating since I'm still unpacking, but checked out and planned some future projects.  We even went to a small fall fair that was on over the weekend and checked out what competition there would be for us next year.  It was like a  mini Armstrong Fair or Rutland May Days, just no rides, but they had horses!  Small town fair for sure.  Didn't see anything similiar to our products so we are planning to go in next year :)  Could be fun doing a small town fair.
Did you see the new picture I added of the two of us on our sidebar?  My son did a mini photo session with us since we had absolutely no pictures of the two of us.  Figured we may need them in the future, so I put on up LOL.
Today I want to share with you some kitchen towels that would make awesome gifts.  Whether it be wedding, birthday, Christmas - they can be personalized any way.

They each come with a matching crocheted dish cloth as well.  We will be doing some Christmas themed ones soon too ~ since it is under 100 days away hehehehe.  I say that for a girlfriend of mine who I keep bugging about Christmas not being too far away.  Hey Vanessa??
Anyway, you can always email and let us know what color combo you would like and what design.  I will be sharing some more towel designs and styles which are totally cool!  You can also check out our Facebook page from the link on the side to see other ideas too and LIKE us if you want :)  Never too early to start planning for gifts right?

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter!

I didn't realize so much time had passed since I was last hear.  WOW - so sorry.  Time passes when you are having fun :)

I have been working with my hubby.  He had a deadline to meet on the house he's been working on. He is a contractor/builder.  He had gutted a house and had to basically help the tenants come up with a plan to make it work better for their family.  The upstairs wasn't bad, but the basement definitely wouldn't work.  So he gut though whole thing and made a new floor plan.  Everything was going great until about 3 weeks ago.  A fire broke out in the attic. Seems the guy that used to live there did a really bad job on the electrical.  We were told the fire had been going and snuffing itself out for at least 2 years from what the Fire Dept could tell.  Anyway, long story short, the fire set the schedule back a couple of weeks.  The new owners, of course, had a timeline to move in as well.  So our sons and myself helped out.  I would work until school got out, I would pick up the kids and we would all then head over to the jobsite.  We finally did the last of it yesterday.  The only thing still waiting to come is the countertops which will be next week.  I'm glad it is done though and it was kind of cool with us all working together.
I left them this little housewarming gift since they had to wait an extra week to move in with the fire set back.

Aren't they cute?  I love them.  Here is a closeup.

I think I will definitely do some sets like this for May Days.  Everyone loved them.  We're going to help them move in tomorrow so I will see what they thought then.

I also had a friend who I needed to send a sympathy card to.  I struggle sometimes to make them, as most do, but I knew I wanted to make it pretty and cheerful with color.

This is using the Stampin' Up! Elements of Style stamp set and Because I Care.  I used Marina Mist and Crumb Cake.  The image is stamped with black ink on Watercolor paper and clear embossed.  Watercolored with the stamp pads and a watercolor brush.  The butterflies embosslits was also used for the little butterfly, sponged and glittered.  The ribbon was tied into a bow using the Bow-Easy.  This little tool is so awesome.  You can tie 7 different sizes using this. I also misted the front with Smooch Spritz in a bronze color.  Took a few tries cause the first time was all over my fingers. LOL

That's it for today.  Thank you for stopping in.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter!!

Topsy Towels

Hello friend!!!  Today I am wanting to show you something really neat that I did for the Christmas craft fairs in December.

These are decorative towels to hang on your oven or handle of a cupboard or anywhere you have a handle for them to hang.  The printed cotton on top matches the embroidery design that I have put on to bottoms.  Here is a few more I did.

This gingerbread is one of my favorites. Just love that saying with the cute little gingerbread guy.  I did another one that was baby blues snowflakes with touch of silver and then embroidered snowflakes with Mylar on the bottom.  Very pretty - sorry I can't show you since they all sold. Will have to do some more of those ones.

I will be working on some now for spring/summer.  They will be so much fun and full of color.

Interested in any of these or when I get my new ones done, send me an email.

Thanks for stopping in.  Hope you enjoyed my creations for today.=:)
