Kiss Goodnight

I have been wanting to do one of these pillows for a while now.  I found a perfect saying for the pillow and decided to give it a try.  This fabric was a piece from that I had in my "large" stash :)  I love the color combo of this fabric.  It is sort of a thick satin. This is the front:

And here is the back - similiar texture to dupioni silk.

I love this color, very rich.

I had to do a closeup of the saying.  That was the only part I wasn't too happy about. Didn't think it would look so small.  Will definitely re-size next time.
These make awesome Valentine, anniversary, birthday or wedding gifts.  Also just to say I love you, thinking about you, whatever.

Let me know what you think?  Too small or ok?  Need to definitely try some more sayings/quotes on pillows I think :)

Off to create.................but isn't this cute  LOL

Hey everyone
So glad you stopped by to say hi and check out my blog.  I have been on a roll and blogging everyday.  It feels great too - especially having lots of projects to show you.
This is the last wedding card that I have to show you from the set I did for my girlfriend.  I love this one too - what can I say:)
You can't tell on this one, but the turquoise cardstock is actually shimmered - I found it in my stash.  I found a whole bunch of DSP and other kinds of cardstock in my stash.  I have to get busy using it.
I have been wanting to use these little roses for a while now and wasn't sure how to but I think this works out perfect.  Color is awesome and what better than on a wedding card.
Again, the veil and the bouquet are glittered.  I tried to get a better shot to show you.
Using the border punch from Stampin' Up! and the large oval and scallop oval punch as well on the sentiment.
So that is it for wedding cards for a while.  I hope you enjoyed them all - I really enjoyed making them.  And Kim really liked the variety so I was happy that she was happy.  Another happy customer:)
Thanks for sticking by me and not getting bored of them.  At least I hope not LOL
Tomorrow I hope to show you another infant outfit if I get the embroidery all done tonite.  It is soooo cute.  I will only tell you that I haven't done this outfit before and it is for a sporty little girl.  Now you have to come back and check it out.  See you then

Congratulations!

I've been sewing up some more projects today.  My daughter has a birthday party to go to tonite for a sleep over and decided that she wanted to make her friend a little purse that I got a new pattern for.  Fairly simple, but she still needs my guidance so we worked on it today.  I'm pretty proud of her.
She has also been sewing up some other little projects that she wants to put in the craft fair in Sept.  I told her if she sews them, whatever she sells, she keeps.  But I will show you those at a later date.

So today, I will show you one of the wedding cards that I was going to show you yesterday.  I used Blush Blossom, vellum and a little bit of flower soft for the bouquet.  The wedding dress is all glittered up as well as the veil.  The grooms accessories are colored with the blush blossom marker.  And a couple pearls down at the left corner.  This is one of my favorites and fairly simple.  It looks much better in real life though.

Hope you like it too - let me know what you think.  Would love to hear from you.

Blue Swans

Hi everyone
Although I love this retired stamp set from Stampin' Up!, I always find it very difficult to come up with something elegant.  Not sure why.
This is another one of the wedding cards for my girlfriends order and my least favorite.  I love the colors, but I was just trying for something a little more elegant.  This was like the third try and I just went with it.
I used my scalloped and oval punches from Stampin' Up! for the sentiment.  There is glitter on the swans (if you clik on the photo, you might be able to see).
I hope you like it.  My girlfriend did and that's what is important.

See you back here tomorrow for another baby outfit.  Told you I've been busy!

Hugs til tomorrow

Best Wishes Blush

This is another wedding card for her collection.  I really like the "clean" look of this one.  The black really pops with the contrast of the blush blossom.

I don't remember the DSP I used on this but an embossing folder was used on the blush cardstock.  You can't see the glitter well either that I used on the "Best Wishes".  I tried to capture it as best I could, as well as on the butterflies..

Oval punches from Stampin' Up! were used on the sentiment, along with the Oval All stamp set.

I hope you like it.

Hugs til tomorrow

Congratulations glittered

On summer break, it's beautiful outside and I feel so relaxed.  First time in a long time.

I wanted to share with you another wedding card for my girlfriend.  I really enjoy making them and haven't had to do any for a long time.

I like this one too.  I'm not sure of the 'vanilla' flowers though.  I did find my white ones after this was done.  I was hoping for white and silver only.  It still turned out elegant though.  And glittery - what I was going for.

I will check back in tomorrow with another.  Yes, I have six of these to show you.  I might slip in a little baby outfit instead to show you.  You'll have to check back to see though.  LOL

Hugs

Better later than never:)

Yes I am back.  I never meant for it to be this long though.  After May Days so much happened and I was only going to take a few days rest since I was so exhausted.
Well, besides filling baby outfit orders, and end of the year projects for teachers, our computer got a really bad Trojan infection.  I couldn't even get on to my blog for a good two weeks.  It kept telling me that Blogger had an expired certificate.  Anyway, it is all fixed and rolling again.
I will be showing you lots of stuff that I have been doing and planning.  My next event isn't until mid September so I plan on building up stock and taking my time at it.
Also hopefully planning a couple of holidays in there and possibly moving.  That's if all goes as planned LOL.

So, the first thing I wanted to share with you are some wedding cards. A friend asked me to do up an order of wedding cards for her.  She needed 6 just for June!
This is the first one:

Showing you two pictures so you can see the shimmer cardstock and the glitter on the bride's dress.  For a fairly simple card, I really like how this turned out.

I will show you another tomorrow.  Hope you come back to see and my friends that dropped in to see me today, thanks for sticking by me.  It means a lot.

Hugs til tomorrow
