A HUGE thank you to all of you who entered and some new followers!  I had a blast checking out some wonderful blogs over the past couple of weeks and discovered some fantastic talent, and some so close to home:) I will definitely be going back to browse them all again.
It was so funny reading the comments where most of them "needed" the password book because they kept losing their sticky's. LOL. I know how you feel.  I was going to add another door prize if I hit 200 and I figure 192 is close enough. I used random.org and the first winner is:

and the second winner is:

Britt from Stitchety-Grub

Both winners have been sent an email.  Thanks for playing everyone.....if there is anything you need or want to order, please send me an email.
I'm off to make my daughter an Egyptian costume for her Girl Guide camp this weekend.    Have a great weekend

One World One Heart 2011

I am so glad that you stopped by! Welcome to Dreamscape Studio.  My little haven where I like to escape and spend MOST of my time. I'm Sue and here you will find all kinds of creations made from the heart. I love to do all crafts, but my passion is stamping, sewing and machine embroidery.
Baby clothing and accessories are my all-time favorite to create. No worrying on sizing and I always like to have a hat or headband or anything that will complete the outfit. Especially when it is for gifts. Being able to personalize with embroidery makes it even more special. I also love to make purses and tote bags with some embroidery.
When it comes to stamping, cards of course are up there. Altering address books or journals with quotes on the front have to be my favorite to create. I've even tried shadow boxes too and they are so fun!!

I used to love selling my creations at craft fairs but now you can find them all at my Etsy store (empty right now), browse around my blog or check out the photo albums on Facebook with pictures of everything (both links on my sidebar).

Why am I telling you this? Cause I am one of 100's flying on the wings of OWOH 2011 (clik on the logo above to read about this fun event).  It is open to all active bloggers worldwide!  All you need to do is leave a comment with a way for me to contact you and don't forget to leave your blog address so I can stop by and visit you too!  On February 18th, I will announce the winner (email them and post it).  So what is my door prize?  Check it out!!

LOL this happens to be one of my favorite things to create too.  It is a set which includes a Usernames & Passwords book, a matching journal and a mylar angel.

This is perfect for keeping record of the sites, blogs and stores you like to visit often or shop in. You can record the name of the blog, your username and password.  Keep this on your desk so you always have it handy. A ribbon holds your pen for you so you are always ready. Here are some closer views:

And this is the matching journal.

..........with one of my favorite quotes on the front. And some closeups of the front.

Now you can read the quote better LOL.

And last but not least, also included in this door prize is an embroidered angel.  I use mylar to give her some elegant glow.

Here you can see the mylar a little better. It's kind of like cellophane.

You can hang her in your craft room, from your rear view mirror in your vehicle or even at your desk.
So, to be eligible to win all this:

1. You need to have an active blog.
2. You MUST add a comment below and include an email or some way for me to make contact with you once this event is done (Feb 17th)
3. I will use random org to choose the winner and post the winner Feb 18th
So come on ~ join in the fun.  Grab your coffee or cold drink and come fly on the wings with all of us bloggers around the world.  You won't be disappointed! There's so much to see..................

Dream big

Sorry I'm late with my post today.  My camera died and couldn't upload my pictures.
I wanted to share with you one of my favorite images.  A cute little fairy from LOTV.  These images are perfect for all ages. The sentiment is from Gina K.

Different closeups so you can see the glitter I added to her dress and wings, as well as the butterflies.
I really enjoy doing these journals.  I also added a charm with beads to the coil.

I hope you enjoyed my journal.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

A bird does not sing.....................

I love this quote - I love all quotes but this is one of my favorites.

I decided to do another journal....................just cause I wanted to:)  I embossed the stamped image with clear to help it pop a little.  I used one of my favorite DSP from Stampin' Up! but unfortunately it is retired.

And a closeup just in case you wanted to see:

And the embellishments:

I hope you enjoyed it and thanks for stopping by.  Got to keep this short and get lots more done.

This was taken last week in the evening when we were out - not very clear and focused ( I know Kelli) but we were driving and I tried to capture it before it was gone.  It was so pretty.  I wanted to show you anyway.

Enjoy your day.  Stay warm and hopefully you arent' getting the cold and snow.  We have the cold right now and snow on the way.....brrrr!   I am soooo ready for spring.

Weeds are Flowers

I have been itchin' to alter a journal.  I received some awesome stamps from my SS in our Christmas swap and some of them were quotes and I love quotes.  This is one of them.  I love the words to this and thought it perfect for this journal.

Here  you can see the little bit of dimension. I also hung a charm from the ribbon, added a butterfly punch, some stickles for the flower centers and kiwi green rhinestones to the quote that is up on dimensionals.  It was fun to do and have a few more I want to do using my new stamps ~ thanks Karen, I love them!

Sorry I missed posting yesterday.  My few days off work and the last two, I have been feeling terrible.  Nauseous, light-headed, and just totally drained.  Hope I'm not getting something with all the viruses we have going around right now.  Had a nap in the afternoon both days and I'm feeling a little better today and of course, I'm working.

Have a great day and hopefully its' sunny where you are.

I Apologize............

I first, want to apologize for not being consistent in my posting before Christmas.  I have been a terrible blogger.  It got so busy and trying to stay caught up with orders and family stuff, I ran out of time.  I also started a new job which I absolutely love.  I will, however, be doing my best to keep up on my blogging from this point on.

With that being said, I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and that you were surrounded by family and friends.  We had a quiet Christmas, but lots of fun.  Saw some family and talked to others that were further away.  Nothing big planned for the new year except hanging with the kids and watching movies, and playing games.  I can't believe that Christmas came so fast and New Years' is almost here.  The time is flying by.

I do have something to share with you.  It was a custom order for a friend's neice for Christmas.  I absolutely love the colors and simplicity. They only wanted to use the three colors - black, white and kiwi, with a little bling.  Pretty huh?

Here is a close up of the bling and the embellishment.

And the inside, back cover.
Think I will be definitely making some more of these for my craft fair at the end of January.  I missed doing them and it felt good to be able to pull out all the supplies and create.

I do have some items to share with you tomorrow.  So hope you pop back tomorrow.  Enjoy your day and stay warm.

Memory is the strength....

Thank you for all the well wishes for my mom.  She is home now and resting.  Told to take it easy and no stress.  They did all kinds of tests and they really don't know what caused her to have trouble breathing.  Sent her home with an inhaler and hoping that helps.  Thank goodness that she is home now.

I want to share with you a favorite of mine.  An altered address book.  This is really one of my favorites - I love how the rose stamp from Kitchen Sink Stamp turned out.  Took a LOT of practice, but I finally got it to look almost real.  I need to practice with the others now.  Mounted the rose on some Old Olive that I cut with my Oval Nesties.  The sentiment is one of my favorites too from SU, but retired.  Not sure if you can see the vellum butterfly sitting there.  A MS punch for the white hearts layer.  I used my BIA to bind the spine.  I always like to hang a keychain on the spine with a charm and this one has 2 intertwined silver hearts.  The DSP already had the lace border on it so I thought it was perfect for the spine area.
They are a lot of work, but I just have a lot of fun doing these.

I received my new SU products today.  Time to start playing with my NEW Christmas goodies and wait til you see them. I love making Christmas cards and I never have enought to give out at Christmas.  This year, I plan on starting right away and trying to build up enough.  I will be having a few classes come September for Christmas projects and will let you know once I figure out the dates.  it's never too early to start.

I received three emails yesterday enquiring about the Little Miss Sunshine outfit I posted and another regarding my Hibiscus purse.  Gotta get busy and get these done too!!  It's going to be a busy week, but I'm happy about that.  Thanks ladies for liking what I do and supporting me:)

Friends are like Sewing

My last journal to show you.  This stamp set is Out of Style, I think and is retired.  BUT I love it and is perfect for all my sewing friends.

Buttons are a perfect embellishment for this journal and the colors match perfectly.  A variety of ribbons and punches.  Colored the image with my markers and highlighted the patterns on the dress form with glitter gel pen.  Hard to capture in the photo though.  I can't remember where I got the DSP - I think the dollar store last year.

This would even make a great gift for the seamstress in your life to make notes on her sewing projects.

OK, I'm off to do a couple of little summer outfits.  Got some new patterns that I am dying to try out.  And some more purse patterns too.  Just like Christmas here!  LOL

Hope you are enjoying your summer vacation - another month to go:)  Thanks for dropping by.............

Coffee and friends

Another altered journal - I know but I love to do these.  And of course this stamp set is one of my favorites.  Coffee and friends, of course.

Pretty straight forward.  A variety of papers, the brown strip on the right is Soft Suede and I used the Scallop trim border punch from Stampin' Up!  A couple of flowers with a little bling in the centres and lots of ribbon on the coil binding.  I love this color combo too.

I have one more journal to show you tomorrow.  I've got to get some more of these done for the fair but I want to do different sizes too.  Hope you can drop by:)

Footprints

This is one of my favorite poems.  I have it in a stamp so I decided to use it on a journal front.  The Designer paper is a great color combo too. I got these papers last year at the Dollar Store.  The Top Note die is a favorite.   The seashells were glued on.
A nice gift for someone to take to the beach.  Some quiet time, enjoy the beauty and write down there thoughts.  I can picture it now.............LOL.  Not with my three kids.  Just kidding.  I'd have to go alone or to a beach where there was no one else.

Thanks for stopping by.  See you next time............

Make a Wish

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Our weather was gorgeous, but honestly it was hard for me to get into any crafting/sewing.  Don't know why, maybe because of the weather:)

Today I want to share with you a journal that I altered.  We gave it to my daughter's girlfriend as part of her birthday gift.

I just love altering journals and address books! And this little fairy image with the frog was fun to color and soooo cute. There is a little bit of glitter on her wings, but it is hard to see as well as on the pink punched flower. Hope you can see it when you clik in the picture of the closeup.  The papers are from the Dollar store from last year.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you visit tomorrow. Enjoy your evening.

We all need one of these!

I know I do and my daughter wants one too.  This is a covered jounal that you keep track of all those blogs, websites, and online stores you go shopping and the passwords that are needed.  Or even keep notes of each  place you visit and maybe a wish list.  A very handy book.  I definitely have to make more of these - maybe for the craft fair:)

Here is a close up of the front.  Don't know why it looks green though.  It is the same as the one above.

I also covered one of those RSVP pens with the matching Designer paper.  Makes for a nice gift too.
Here is a another one I did paired with this one.

Both have the same label on the front "User Names & Passwords".  So which one do you like?

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your evening.
Hugs
