Pink & Black polka dots.............

Good day everyone:)

It is springtime here although they are calling for rain later.

I have been working hard on a tote bag I plan on showing you as soon as I complete it. Almost done, hopefully by tonite or early tomorrow.  I love the richness of the colors.    Since I can't show you that one, I can show you a purse I made for a friend in a secret sister swap.  As I mentioned in a few posts back, her favorite colors are black and pink or brown or pink.  So of course, I had to make a purse with pink & black...... polka dots.  The fabric is pique and it is quite cute.

Inside is lined with cotton.  It's not big, but great for a spring time outing.  The flower on the front is a fabric flower with a rhinestone centre.

I really hope she likes it.

Ok, off to finish my tote.  I am so loving this one.  Back on tomorrow hopefully with pics.

Keeping organized:)

Hello there - glad you stopped by.  I'm on a roll now; four posts in a row.  Are you proud of me - LOL.

So, one of my favorite items to alter is chipboard.  I LOVE making address books and altered frames.  This one is a little different.  You can't see it well, but clik on it and it gets bigger and you might be able to read the words on the red checked piece of cardstock.  It is Birthdays & Addresses.  I'm sure you can all say that you would need one of these to help keep track.  I know I do, especially while I'm only getting older.........and getting forgetful.

This is one of my favorite types of images, especially to color.  It can be used perfectly for a "thinking of you" card to a special family member or friend.

I love the springy Designer paper.  And of course colored with copics:)  Check out the shading - not bad huh.

The left side is for birthdays and the right side is for addresses.

Pretty handy huh?  Would look great as a gift paired up with an address book and gift card.

Well it is getting late - I must hit the hay.  Busy weekend crafting, but I'm not complaining.  Just gotta go to bed at a decent time from now on.

I know I do and my daughter wants one too.  This is a covered jounal that you keep track of all those blogs, websites, and online stores you go shopping and the passwords that are needed.  Or even keep notes of each  place you visit and maybe a wish list.  A very handy book.  I definitely have to make more of these - maybe for the craft fair:)

I also covered one of those RSVP pens with the matching Designer paper.  Makes for a nice gift too.

It's Magical!!!

My daughter and I collect any fairy stamps we can find.  This one is one of my favorites.  She is so cute and I love their faces.  My daughter needed a card for a friend's bithday and chose this one. Sorry for the blurriness.  It didn't look like that when I took it - LOL.

The coloring isn't the best but I'm going to keep on plugging at it.  I think I need to get more colors too - that may help.

I love this color combo and the layout is quite simple using Designer paper. Of course, there is some bling on her wings, the stars and the sentiment.

Surprise!!!!

Bet you're surprised to see me huh?  I'm soooo sorry for being away for so long.  Life has just been super busy and I think I also ran myself down.  So much always going on and up late all the time.  There is just not enough time in a day you know. 
I'm really happy that spring is here too.  With the birds singing and the buds are all showing on the trees, the sun is even sticking around.  Not today mind you - it was pouring rain all night and some today.  This weekend promises to be nice though.
Ok, I do have something to share with you.  Now that I can post it and show it - LOL. 

Isn't he cute??  It was for my secret sister and she is a cat lover - to say the least. Her cat's name is Boots and he crafts with her.  I colored him with copics and still tryin' to master that.  I think it turned out pretty good though.  Her favorite color combo is pink and black or pink and brown.  So this matches one of her favorite combos.
