Hey everyone ~ I am sorry for my absense. It has been pretty hectic here since my daughter has been home from the hospital and her first day back was today for ½ days. Now my son is home sick. Apparently there is another virus going around at the schools, and of course, he's home. His asthma gets really bad when he gets sick, so we have to watch him.
Haven't had a lot of "me" time, but I am really having withdrawls and trying to get in my studio. Will have lots to share with you in the coming days, but for now, I want to share with you another Christmas card I did using the Holy Tryptych stamp set. Yes it is retired from Stampin' Up! but one of my favorites for Christmas.
I stamped the angel on vellum, waited for it to dry and turned it over coloring it with markers on the wrong side. The frame was stamped with versamark and embossed with gold and then layered on Whisper White, then mounted on metallic gold cardstock.
Here you can see a little of the gold cardstock and Dazzling Diamonds on the angel wings. Here is a better picture:
Isn't she pretty. I used the Baroque Motifs stamp for the background and stamped the verse in versamark embossed in gold too.
Hope you like it. Pretty simple.
Thanks for stopping by. And just a reminder to check down my sidebar and go check out my Facebook page if you haven't arleady. I got some albums up and they are slowly filling. Still more I want to get up loaded.
Off to make my BFF a birthday card for tonite. Have a great evening and see you tomorrow.
