Just swinging by...............

So glad it is Friday! I love Fridays cause it is the beginning of a weekend.  I plan on getting lots accomplished this weekend.  Sewing, listing all stamp sets for sale (been wanting to get this done), and hopefully some Christmas cards.

This card was made for my nephew who turned 4 and love monkeys.  I love these little guys.  They are so cute and really suitable for all ages.  I colored him with markers and used my scallop circle with Baja Breeze for the clouds.  Scallop Oval and oval punch for the sentiment.

Keeping it short and sweet.  That's it for today since I am a little later getting this out.  Had kids' friends here today and need to get them  from the pool and get them home.

Hope you stop in tomorrow!!

Summertime Splendor

I still don't have the My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!  I will one day, but I want to get my own computer and my Dreamscape studio all set up first then I won't be sharing the computer with the kids.  But that doesn't mean I can't use some of the downloads for this awesome program.
I saw on many blogs actually, the Summertime Splendor designer paper used on simple cards with just a few embellishments.  I had to, of course, check this out.
So here is the stationary set I came up with.

And they were all pretty simple.  The layering and embellishments took a little time but I like the result considering all the backgrounds are printed from my printer and just cut down to size.
From the Heart
Thinking of You
Thanks so Much
With Sympathy
and Birthday Wishes.

They all use the Scallop Oval punch and oval punch.  I glittered the butterflies from the Embosslits for all the cards and the scallop trim border punch on the cardstock base.  You can see they printed up really well and know I will be using these a lot now that it is saved on my computer.  That's the cool thing - it's there whenever I need it.
These would make awesome gifts for moms, grandmas, sisters, aunts - will have some of these for sure at the craft fair too:)  If you are interested in any My Digital Studio products or Stampin' Up! products, call or email me.
Thanks for dropping in and enjoy your day!!

Jumbo clip bookmarks

ETA:  I added a Guest Book to my sidebar (below Followers) :)  Would love for you to take a moment to sign it while you are here visiting.  Thanks & hugs

Yeah, it's Friday!  I love Fridays cause it means the weekend
is about to begin.  And I have lots to do ............

So let's get started:

Lookie what I did!  Lots of bookmarks using the jumbo paper clips.  My kids helped me color some of the images and I assembled and packaged them all.
These will be at the next craft fair in September.

Here is another view:

and a closeup of a few of my favorites.  Aren't they cute?!  Really easy to do and my kids love using them.  Mostly my daughter - the boys don't read much anymore.
I used SU cardstock for the background and the Scallop Oval punch for the front.  The little For You stamp is from Elements of Style out of the Occasions mini.  I love that stamp set.  Scallop circle punch was used for the images.

See, I've been busy.  Lots more to show you so I hope you come back for a visit.

Hey everyone
So glad you stopped by to say hi and check out my blog.  I have been on a roll and blogging everyday.  It feels great too - especially having lots of projects to show you.
This is the last wedding card that I have to show you from the set I did for my girlfriend.  I love this one too - what can I say:)
You can't tell on this one, but the turquoise cardstock is actually shimmered - I found it in my stash.  I found a whole bunch of DSP and other kinds of cardstock in my stash.  I have to get busy using it.
I have been wanting to use these little roses for a while now and wasn't sure how to but I think this works out perfect.  Color is awesome and what better than on a wedding card.
Again, the veil and the bouquet are glittered.  I tried to get a better shot to show you.
Using the border punch from Stampin' Up! and the large oval and scallop oval punch as well on the sentiment.
So that is it for wedding cards for a while.  I hope you enjoyed them all - I really enjoyed making them.  And Kim really liked the variety so I was happy that she was happy.  Another happy customer:)
Thanks for sticking by me and not getting bored of them.  At least I hope not LOL
Tomorrow I hope to show you another infant outfit if I get the embroidery all done tonite.  It is soooo cute.  I will only tell you that I haven't done this outfit before and it is for a sporty little girl.  Now you have to come back and check it out.  See you then

Blue Swans

Hi everyone
Although I love this retired stamp set from Stampin' Up!, I always find it very difficult to come up with something elegant.  Not sure why.
This is another one of the wedding cards for my girlfriends order and my least favorite.  I love the colors, but I was just trying for something a little more elegant.  This was like the third try and I just went with it.
I used my scalloped and oval punches from Stampin' Up! for the sentiment.  There is glitter on the swans (if you clik on the photo, you might be able to see).
I hope you like it.  My girlfriend did and that's what is important.

See you back here tomorrow for another baby outfit.  Told you I've been busy!

Hugs til tomorrow

Best Wishes Blush

This is another wedding card for her collection.  I really like the "clean" look of this one.  The black really pops with the contrast of the blush blossom.

I don't remember the DSP I used on this but an embossing folder was used on the blush cardstock.  You can't see the glitter well either that I used on the "Best Wishes".  I tried to capture it as best I could, as well as on the butterflies..

Oval punches from Stampin' Up! were used on the sentiment, along with the Oval All stamp set.

I hope you like it.

Hugs til tomorrow

Just for You

So I had my first stamp class on Thursday night.  First one since before Christmas.  It was so much fun getting together with the girls again.  It seems like forever.  We did a lot of catching up and had a lot of fun stamping.  We are all game into keeping it going since they were having withdrawls they said.
I will be adding some classes tomorrow to April's schedule since Mother's day is coming up in May.  A special class will also be added for young stampers to join in and make a Mothers' day gift and matching card so watch for that too.
This is one of the cards we did.  Using the ornament punch, we turned it into a vase by cutting the bottom point off.  Using also my favorite Sizzlits butterflies with some glitter.  I love how this one turned out.  The colors are Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.

Here is a close up of the butterflies.  Aren't they a perfect touch for this card?

Don't forget the Occasions mini is still available until the end of the month. Some new promotions are also going on and you can find those on my sidebar. You don't want to miss them - Clearance Rack is only while supplies last too!
Have a great day!!!!
